We are so excited that spring is finally here! long walks, playing at the park, feeding the ducks we are excited to do it all!! Steven and I go on a two mile walk everyday! he loves going on walks which is good for me cause i get a workout with it! We have two awesome parks next to us that steven love to play at. He also has a love for finding rocks, he has started hid own rock collection, and we are going to paint them and put them on our porch.

Well we are in our new place! Still have a few things to get out of our old place, but so far we are loving our new home! Best part we are so close to Adams work he can come home for lunch and visit!!

We are getting ready to move, which is my least favorite thing ever! but hopefully it will be our last one for awhile.

Steven will finally be getting is own room. Which i am excited for but also really scared/sad about i love having him in oir room with us. It makes me feel like he is more safe and i can protect him better with him in the same room. I know that sounds crazy! Having all his toys in his room is going to be SO NICE! My whole house right now looks like a daycare haha. Steven was really good at helping me pack, until it came time to pack his toys. Silly boy!

This may seem like a small thing to most people, but to us its amazing! Steven has been learning his animals and the sounds they make with puzzles, and he can now say mooo for cow. If you ask him where the piggy is he will pickup the pig! We are so proud!! Steven is right on track for his hearing age which is five months. But for his actual age of 18 months he is behind but we are working really hard with him to get him on track! Our Goal is for him to have 50 words down by his birthday which is august 14th! 

Sum 41 comes on, Steven grabs his drumstick and starts singing! Our son is pretty cool!

We are ready for the warm weather to come back! Steven just cries and cries cause he want to go outside and play! I'm ready to go on long walks again and summer BBQ . Stevens was still a little young last summer to do to much fun stuff, but this summer will be lots of seven peaks and play days at the park! Hopefully going to California as well! Summer cant get here soon enough!

steven learned how to use silverware in the past couple weeks now he wont eat unless he has a spoon or fork. even if its a cookie he will use silverware.

Stevens favorite thing to do lately is play just dance, which is awesome for me cause thing i get a workout too! He is so funny when he plays it!

This is what Stevens implant looks like, alot of people ask us how it works. So the around part on the top, is a magnet the connect to the magnet in the inside as well as the internal piece on his skull.So Steven will NEVER be able to have an M.R.I on any part of his body, but if we walks by the fridge we will not get stuck too it haha that is a very common question we get. Anyway the part on the top is what makes the hwile thing work if the magnets get detached from each other all sound is gone we always are having to put it back on and watching it to make sure it is on. the part that wraps around his ear had to speakers on it that he hears out of! He does not hear out of his ear he ears out of the speakers. there is a little light right next to the speakers if its blinking green there is sound coming out of it if it is blinking orange something is wrong, it might be the batteries or something else but most likely the batteries, but we can hook it up to his remote ho find out what the problem is.It looks like an ipod. He has two differnt implants both for the same hear just different colors. you get two of them because is something happens too one and you have to send it too get fixed you will have you back up so he is never not hearing. We switch back and forth between them everyday. if there is anytjing else you guys want to know just ask :)

Wow! It has been forever since we have been on here! Life has been crazy! but steven got his first implant and is doing great! he has been hearing for 4 months now! He can say mom and da and hi but he understand alot of what you are saying when you talk to him, even if he cant say it himself yet.Steven has a early intervention person come each tuesday to work with him to help him get sounds down and helps him talk. She does great with him we love having her come! Steven goal is too have fifty words down by the time he turns two, which will be in august. It will be a lot of hard work for him but we know he can do it! We are still saving and rasing money for him to get a second implant on his left side but it might take us awhile to get there, but he will do just fine with the one. With on;y being able to hear for four months steven is doing great all his doctors are very impressed with him.. they say it because us as parents are working so hard with him, but i think Steven, is just a very smart boy.Who deserves all the credit! We are going to start posting alot more so friends and family that dont live close by will know all about how our little man is, and how are family is!
