This is steven, the pride and joy of mine and my husband adam's life... when Steven was two week old we found he was deaf.. at first we thought it was the end of the world. I never thought my son would hear his parents voice, yet alone have a normal life. I had never met or known anyone that was deaf before.. had a mini break down for about a week held him so tight and just cried.. i thought it was all my fault he was deaf. Which it wasn't. Then about a week after finding out, i heard about implants, and made steven an appt right away at primary children's hospital. and after at ton of hospital visits we found out he could get an implant! I had never been so happy! My baby boy would be able to hear his mom and dads voice and have a normal life. He will be getting his implant sometime before or around his first birthday!
